Dear Parents, Today in class we learned Week 8 vocabulary words 1 - 15. Homework tonight is vocabulary words 1 - 15 x 4, definitions x 1, 5 sentences using 2 vocabulary words per sentence. There will be no quiz this week. Please note that while Week 7 vocabulary words will not be on the next listening and written exams, week 8 words will be on them. Special note: From 04/17 - 04/25, I will be in the United States. I will send out instructions about the oral exam prior to my departure. I will be back at school on 04/26. Have a great day. Dear Parents, Today in class we learned subjects and predicates, did RWN pages 54 and 61, and read Thunder Rose. Homework tonight is to study for the unit test. Tomorrow's unit test will consist of spelling, definition matching, subjects and predicates, long vowel vcv words, and story comprehension. Due to only being able to read the story once this unit due to the number of field trips, I suggest that students read Thunder Rose to review.
